Continuing the theme, picked up a handle of EC12 small batch.  Add this to a few single barrel EC12 bottles I have, and I should be good with EC12 for a good long while.

I also bought nothing because liquor sales are not allowed on Sundays in Indiana.  I just learned today that happy hour (on any day) is illegal in Indiana.  I guess I never realized that.  Many bars and restaurants run "happy hour" specials on appetizers but not alcohol or run all day long liquor specials.

Happy hour specials were illegal in Illinois until just recently because they were thought to increase the frequency of drunk driving.  I hadn't really noticed their absence either, as I typically do not head to the bar right after work.  Daily alcohol specials have always been legal though.  Sometimes the logic behind laws is puzzling.

Do you think that dropping the age statement has been good for EC sales this month?  Another one in my bunker!

Yep, I'd say it's resulted in a pretty good boost in sales... Picked up a handle of EC12 sporting the old style label.

Bartered for a Jim Beam Choice and a WLW12.

I like Beam bourbon, it was my late Dad's favorite and always makes me think of him. I tried to turn him on to the "good stuff" a couple of times, but he preferred Beam.

It reminds me of Friday Fish Frys at Wisconsin supper clubs.

Two bottles of EWSB 2002 for $25 apiece.

Nice pickup there! Color me a bit jealous!

Went back to the store I visited last Friday and grabbed another bottle of ECBP at $54 and a Rittenhouse BIB at $22. Solid.

picked up a couple EC12.  We still have them with the 12 upfront here in Canada.  Figured might as well get another couple to go with the few bunkered before the label change.  Bang for the buck, up north here this is always a good price compared to the premium they put on some other brands.

who-hah!  JW Dant has shown up in Cheyenne! Grabbed 2.

Always wanted to do some fly fishing in the area just west of Cheyenne, another reason to visit this summer.

I haven't seen one with the age on the back yet.  In Ontario, Canada, we still have the 12 upfront, big and bold.

Got a bottle of M10 today. Never thought I'd come across that one.  Promised a sample to my salesman.

Picked up 4 EC12 for the bunker. Also found 1 bottle of the elusive Rock Hill Farms . I'll probably go back tomorrow and pick up 2 bottles of EHT BP that I balked at today for $72 ea

Had a work trip up to Vancouver BC today which conveniently put me right by one of the Total Wine's I frequent on the return trip. I had placed a web order for (4) EC12's that I went to pick up and while there I picked up two more EC12's, a RRSiB, and to my surprise, an EHTBP.

I don't remember ever seeing a TW in Vancouver.  Where is this?  I kept getting stuck next to BC Liquors during my time up there, which had next to nothing on the shelves as far as bourbon went.

Dropped by a store with nothing particular in mind and walked out with an Ezra Brooks 12 year and AAA 10*.

I've passed by the EB12 countless times, but figured if the Heaven Hill doesn't have enough of their own barrels for EC12, the NDP aren't going to have access to as many (or any). One of the reasons I've always passed on it is because it doesn't seem like it'd be all that different from EC12.

AAA 10* is one of my favorites in its price range.

Picked up the first Hancock's that I've seen in about a year for $40.

I passed on Chestnut Farms. Is that a BT product? It had the exact same bottle, cork, and faux tax strip as CEHT.
