Found my first bottle of Stagg jr, and found some bookers noe secret for sale for 39.99. Also saw some pikesville, but had to decide on 2.

Always wanted to do some fly fishing in the area just west of Cheyenne, another reason to visit this summer.

You can get acres up there dirt cheap. 40 acres, $30k. Lovely views, but no services. Pretty windy in WYO too, and winter is brutal. But, all the OWA you can take for $19.22 750ml.

Well, now that you put it that way, all I heard was "all the OWA you take for $19.22 750 ml."

Although, I guess I should ask " Is it windy?  what are the winters like?"

OWA for $17.  Guy got in a case.  I left 1 bottle out of bourbon courtesy.

Been seeing 2 bottles of Spring Mill Indiana Straight Bourbon (112 & 90) sitting in the showroom section of this establishment for over 2 years.  So happy that I got a great price on the OWA, I bought them.

Told the guy that I was making room for some good stuff.  Left him my phone number.  We'll see how that plays out.

Hopefully, he doesn't call you when he gets in another shipment of Spring Mill Indiana Straight Bourbon.

As I spit bourbon across the room!

Very well played, sir!

P. S. Wanna go in on 40 acres and all the Old Weller you can take?

Blanton's Gold and a couple more EC 12 with the age upfront.  (Just in case the newest doesn't work out)  Left 3 from 5.  I'll give it a week and check back.

$17  for OWA! Sheeez you guys got it made down there. That stuff is a unicorn around here. That would for sure be my go to stuff ...if I could buy it like that.

I found some decent deals today and ended up going on a little spree.

My first ever MMCS (111.4; batch 15-03); believe it or not my first purchase ever of WSR ($20 limit one, so what the hey); a backup bottle of Barrel Bourbon Batch 5 (8 yr/3 months-124.7 proof-distilled in TN); Barrel Whiskey Batch 1 (7 yr old-122.5 MGP distillate) and a Baker's 7/107 (damn you, Fishnbowljoe!)...;)

I've held out long enough, and look forward to my first ever pour of MMCS!

P. S. These bottles were all fairly discounted, which is a rarity around here!  I'm really hopeful that the BWB#1 can at least hold a candle to the sublime BBB#5!

Just picked up a couple FR Small Batch for $24 each plus I found an old label bottle of Old Forester. There is a very random bottle code A0164152347650 which seems pointless to me. Then I found a very faded code 94 3 213 0709. I can't imagine this bottle is from 1994 though. Anyway, I thought it was a cool looking bottle for $10.

If you think that BBB#5 is sublime, just wait till you try BBB#6- it just hit here and it is even better. Luckily, the BB selections have a tendency to sit on the shelf for a while due to the price, giving me a chance to save up and get a couple.

Saw the NAS EC for the first time at one of my regular stores, so WN got the best of me and I went to another store and bought a couple EC12 with the age statement on the back...and a couple HH6BIB and a couple bottles of wine to get the 6-bottle discount. B)

I've heard that it's very good, but haven't seen it yet.  We also have a store pick in town that has been 'deemed' better than batch 5.  I, like you, am passing on it for now... waiting/hoping for a price drop (as the store pick is pushing $100).

I was unaware that Barrell Bourbon was doing store picks. They are $86 plus tax here, so ninety-something walking away.

HOLY CRAP!  For the first time here in Middle Georgia, I found a bottle of ECBP (batch 10) on the shelf - and at $53.95 for the bottle - they only got one in their shipment. I just happened to walk in about 10 minutes after they put it on the shelf.  I live for moments like that! :D

Stopped in my favorite local liquor store to grab another handle of EC12 while the age stated bottles are still around... Ended up leaving with John J. Bowman Single Barrel instead. Only seen this in local shops a couple times and kicked myself for not picking up a bottle. Didn't hesitate this time!
