A friend who was near Cox's Creek stopped in and snagged this one for me.  That was nice of him.

Such a pretty little thing, and you go layin' her down on the dirty floor mat of your car like that!  Shame on you.

Twas the friend.  Scurrilous lot, my friends.

But at least no Crotch in the Shot.

Yes.  They’ve also released Balmyphilus and Balmamydia….

And which one is better?

I haven’t purchased a Booker’s in I don’t  know how long.  And honestly, I’ve argued the merits of its increased price to $100 more times than I’ve actually bought bottles of it over the years…🤪

 🤨 Uh huh....

Damn you. If you talk adoringly about this I'll be fidgeting in my seat as I try to reconcile my anti Booker's position.

Don't fall for it Steve.  It's a damn salesman trick.

I cracked my 2022-03 Tea Batch last night.  I am clearly not sophisticated enough to appreciate how unique and special it is, because to me it tasted like a good KC barrel pick.  Especially when I SBS'd it with a KC barrel pick.

Are any of the present KL KC picks to your liking?

Made a few stops today,   Found a couple well known winners and a couple unknowns  that came highly recommended.

Now the big dilemma,    what bottle to open for tonight's pour..

That Ben Holladay is quite good. I sampled it at one of my local stores. They actually have a store pick of it coming soon, and I can't wait to get some of it when it arrives.

picked this one up from a local store. It's a single barrel they chose. The mashbill is interesting in that it is a 4 grain whiskey where 3 of the grains are malted. It is very good, and I may have to pick up a second bottle as a backup.

I am looking forward to opening it.  I started with WA 107 Saturday evening and just could not deviate from that...

Interesting. When/if TWCP opens a bottle at the tasting bar (maybe they already have) I'll have to go sample a pour.

I went out to wash the car this morning and stopped by LB.  Nothing real exciting but I did bring home two Remus Reserve VI.
No pics.

I had a sample pour at the Lamp & Lantern location. I was told that the pick they have coming is really good.

I'll be curious to hear impressions compared to V.  This is another one that I started out "OK" on and is growing on me.

When VI came out I watched all the Whiskey Tubers' reviews and they all said it was not as good as V.  But of all the tubers I could find who actually blinded it, all but one picked VI over V and even the one who picked V over VI picked V second to one of the other series, not first.

Do better!

I mean at least attach some pics of the clean car at a minimum.

Purchased on sale for $30. Haven't had this 108 proof/unfiltered iteration yet. Hoping and/or maybe wishing it's close to Distillers Cut, which I loved 'till it was gone.

Are you advocating the obligatory crotch shot holding the bottle showing off the dash and floor?🫣

Santa brought me one too - was considering for one of the Christmas Eve pours.   Has anyone tried it yet?
