Next we Lost a bottle of Blanton's followed by an older bottle of 1792 SB pick from our time back in NC. All were very good, but nothing spectacular. Then I broke down and googled the other two to get some guesses. But, now, I think that the googling might be unfair. My employee number at work was 86. There were times in argumentative but friendly banter that I’d say to someone, “You’re 86’d.” Some of the younger folks didn’t have a clue. The older folks just chuckled. There was one younger guy that I liked. One day he asked me what my comment meant. I had to tell him. I told him the polite version meant to “trash or throw out” something. The impolite version meant “ get the f**k out”. He smiled and said he liked the impolite version better. IamMatt Posted October 1, 2023 Share Posted October 1, 2023 Celebrating the last day of Bourbon Heritage Month with a little bottle kill (all of them were near the end): Wild Turkey 101, Rebel 100, Elijah Craig SB, and Elijah Craig BP C922. The Rebel has the newer Rebel label but the bottle still has Rebel Yell embossed on it. Too bad it is probably one of many thousands, otherwise it could be a collector's item!
