Skinsfan1311
This was a slightly larger pour than originally intended, but the cork broke This is/was an excellent bottle and I'm glad that I bought a couple of these. This got me to thinking maybe I could take this outstanding $20 bottle and use it in a blend to rid myself of an otherwise drain pour $170 bottle of WP12. I hate wasting a good whiskey like WT101 that I bought. Someone gifted me the WP12 so while I don't like to waste whiskey, I just couldn't bare to look at the bottle any more. So, I did an experiment. 50/50 of each. The result - not quite outstanding like WT101 but very good and very similar to AE or OF Stateman. So, I deciding to blend the remainder of the two bottles (3 parts WT:2 parts WP12), gave it a nice bartender shake and viola, I found a good alternative for the WP12. My drain will thank me. Enjoyed a second pour of Wild Turkey/WP Blend 1.0. I will hit a third pour just because.
Bob_Loblaw
Final night drinking with my cousin who is in town to pick up his haul of bottles that I’ve accumulated for him. Warmed up w/ WSiB which was surprisingly tasty right out of the gate. That got quickly overshadowed by the Gold and then the the ‘19OFBB is just marvelous. One of my all time favorites. Now we are blinding the 2x EHTs and 2x Staggs for fun. Will finish up with the King and the a super exciting HHSS straightbourbon.com pick. Big thanks to a great member here for giving me the chance. will post more details on the HHSS later on. Also attaching a picture from yesterday. Warehouse C was an early favorite, then we went onto Wild Turkey. The new export 101 is absolutely delicious. So are both RR13. Was not able to pick a winner here. Great few days drinking.

So, I saw a bottle of store pick Rebel CS and bottle of store pick EB DC, the labels looked so similar and the proofs were the same so I got confused. I typically see this priced around $49.99 but I believe I know where I can pick up a bottle for around $39.99. Give it is 4 years old, how would you compare to OE7 BS assuming you have had the latter. If not, how would you compare to other 4 year old CS bourbons? This is the only EB that I've ever had, or tasted. I have a couple bottles of the Rebel DC, too, but I don't know if it's CS. I do know that they're both very good. Not sure if that really answers your question. Of the two, I prefer the Rebel.

Clueby
Llama approved. Had a long day putting shocks on old Beige Betty (2005 Yukon) and fixing my daughter's freezer door so I can use this about right now. Listening to Blues hockey for the start of the NHL season.. I think I killed the llama's plant. I have a black thumb.

flahute
I got muh super fancy 4R rocks glass out with the super thick bottom. Received the latest Bourbon Crusaders pick today - an 11yr 5mo OESO - and it is excellent. Did a SBS with an OESK from 2015 and our pick was the winner which is a great sign for how the current bourbons can still be great. Since the fancy glass is out a fancy bourbon is in order. 4R 2019 LESmB it is.
